Spiritual teachers have for centuries commented on the problem with prosperity: It leads to an overactive mind of attachment. With abundance comes entitlement. Nothing is ever good enough for the mind. Its conditioned complaining nature obscures the abundance and turns it into suffering. Whether poor, average, or wealthy, we see entitlement thinking, unhappiness unless we get more, at every level.
