Thanks-giving

Thanksgiving Day Thanksgiving started out as a harvest celebration. A day of giving thanks for the harvest and to express gratitude in general started in 1621. Though probably religious in origin, as most have distanced themselves from real religion as a way of life, giving thanks to a deity, let alone to anyone, seems to be a dying practice as entitlement seems to be the new practice.

Let’s let today be a reminder to again live with an attitude of gratitude. To practice gratitude and thanks giving for everything we have. As we focus our mind, body, and spirit on what we do have, it makes way for more to arrive. When we show gratitude and the practice of being a good steward, others trust us to handle more.

May you be blessed with gratitude and love this holiday. There is indeed so much to be thankful for in every moment.
