The title just came to me.
A great book on Burnout published in the 1980s suggested, based on research, that over 80% of American’s were at burnout. I’d say it’s much higher today.
That’s where this thought came to me today, when talking with a client:
A dull saw doesn’t.
You see, people keep sawing and sawing, never wondering why it’s not working. They are tired, worn out, but they refuse to stop and sharpen the saw.
We can’t hope the dullness of a saw goes away. Drinking coffee, alcohol, pills, escaping, just has us change our focus when sawing. It’s doesn’t change the saw.
Well, YOU are the saw!
